Eye and Face Protection
Wear safety glasses with side protection (BS EN ISO 16321-1:2022).
Hand Protection
Use protective gloves (BS EN ISO 374). Follow the manufacturer's guidance on glove selection, use, and replacement. Replace gloves at any sign of damage or wear. Penetration time varies by manufacturer and must be observed.
Skin Protection
Wear appropriate protective clothing based on the task and exposure level. Use cotton protective garments and fully covering footwear (BS EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024).
For chemical risk, use aprons (BS EN 14605:2005+A1:2009), chemical suits (BS EN 13034:2005+A1:2009), and boots (BS EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024).
Respiratory Protection
If ventilation is insufficient, wear an appropriate breathing mask (BS EN 136) with A2-P2 filters (BS EN 14387). For high vapor/dust exposure or low-oxygen environments, use autonomous self-contained breathing apparatus, as per BS EN 137 and BS EN 138 standards.
